Magnitude 6.6 – QUEEN CHARLOTTE ISLANDS REGION

The quake shook the Charlotte Islands in Canada.

(PID NEWS)  Nov 17, 2009 — This morning, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 6.6 magnitude temblor off the west coast of Canada. According to the report, the earthquake occurred at 15:30:46 UTC with an epicenter approximately 162 miles SSW of Prince Rupert.
