Small plane crashes near Muncie, Indiana

FOX News just ran this story, commenting that F-16s were scrambled to possibly intercept the plane that had been flying ‘erratically’ at an altitude of 23,000 feet.

NORAD is now reporting that no terrorism is involved (though apparently, that had not been the original assumption), but that the pilot suffered from hypoxia.

Those of you who fly small, civilian aircraft — is it normal to fly so high?
