IT’S HAPPENING in Indiana–not far from here.
And Incahoots reports that it’s also happening in New York, California, Oregon, and New Jersey.
Over the last month, people are seeing–what the Chicago Examiner calls a single blue beam of light…connecting the sky to the ground.
The mysterious beam of light appears for only a few seconds, then disappears–sometimes accompanied by a power surge or power ‘reset’ (like when the clock on your VCR starts flashing).
This rash of similar stories caught my eye a few days ago, but this morning’s article in The Daily Mail Online really took me by surprise.
The headline Scientists left baffled as mysterious columns of coloured light appear in the night skies is nothing compared with the photographs: clear images of blue and orange columns of light that seem to connect the earth to the sky.
According to The Daily Mail, scientists say these phenomena are caused by ‘ice crystals’ reflecting ambient light. Maybe–but one December sighting–south of us here in Indiana–could not have been caused by ambient light. It occurred near Hope, Indiana–a very rural setting.
What’s really going on? It’s tough to say, but the photographs at The Daily Mail are startling. These eerie columns look very much like what one would expect an alien tractor beam to look like. The world keeps getting curiouser and curiouser.
