Turkey raises Iran gas imports as BP halts flow on Shakh-Deniz pipeline

Aug 14, 2008 (HURRIYET) — Turkey will increase its imports of gas from Iran to compensate for a reduction in supplies from Azerbaijan resulting from the conflict in Georgia, Reuters reported citing a senior source from the Turkish pipeline company Botas on Tuesday. The Iranian president will pay a two-day visit to Turkey on Thursday, during which energy relation talks are expected to top the agenda. Full Report
